This Game.

I HATE this game. Princess Monopoly. Ick.

But look at how happy it makes them.............

Until the END. See if you look above BLUE is dominating the game. Blue just happens to be Calvin and myself - in the end some castles were thrown and tears shed, isn't that how every game of Monolopy should end??

Window Washers.

I asked the boys to clean my windows, they were happy to help!! Not really, but they didn't really have a choice now did they...

Is there something on my face?? Koolaid? Dirt?
Maybe we'll clean that next!

I think you missed a spot.....
Thanks for the help boys!!

Water Fight.

The other night they brought out the hose and had a water fight, well then it turned into an argument as to who got to have the hose. Problem solved. Calvin you can have it for 5 minutes, then it is Ellery's turn...

Forest City Stockade.

Calvin & I thought we were being funny. Grandma yelled for us to stop so she could take our picture. So we stopped...and she took our picture. Nice bums huh.

Ellery was so excited to go see the school house, she has recenlty visited it on a school field trip and she it was her favorite.

Grandma, Ellery, Hannah and Calvin did the egg toss. Grandma and Ellery's egg just wouldn't break...until it hit the door of the school house.. CRACK. Game over.

We ate:

Rock Candy
Apple Cider
Ice Cream
Fry Bread
Buffalo Sandwich
Root Beer Floots

YUM.

Buffalo Sandy.

Hannah is not much of a meat eater. She cuts her brats in half the long way. Steak must be WELL DONE. She put a thin slice of ham on a huge bun. She just recently started eating pork chops, she was very surprised that she like them.

So you can bet this Buffalo Sandwich that Jerod is shoving into her face is out of the question.

Later in the day (we were at the Forest City Stockade) we found her wandering around looking like this....
Jerod said she looked like she was on opiates. Secretly I think she went and ate a Buffalo Sandwich.

Cherry Cherry.

The boy had cherries last night for the first time. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Number Eight.

Miss Ellery G. Jones is proud to announce she has lost tooth number.....

EIGHT!!

The tooth fairy left her 3 dollars in quarters. The night before she asked if the tooth fairy was real. Her cousin had told her otherwise. I think the 3 dollars in quarters answered that question!!

Slacker.

I HAVE BEEN A SLACKER.

I'll admit it.

I have don't have time inbetween,
work, brushing other peoples teeth,
laundry, dishes, softball, filling water
balloons, clipping toenails, picking
up toys, filling more water balloons,
wiping up spilled yogurt, grocery
shopping, 'hitting pop ups' to the boy,
installing new smoke detectors,
vacumming out the car, putting
bandaids on invisible cuts, going to
Wal-Mart with the kids (will I ever learn?)

You get the idea.

Good thing we have Hanny Nanny.

She has been posting some kid stuff.

It's funny. I'm lucky to have her!!

Check it out here:

Fraidy Cat.

Brian took the kids to the library tonight. They had a ShArK, a horseshoe crab and a starfish you could pet and lots of cool sea shells or as Calvin calls them She Shells to look at. Ellery the brave one, was willing to pet the shark. Calvin was a 'puss'. Not my words....Ellerys, I mentioned we shouldn't probably use that word in the future, even though it probably was very accurate. He unwillingly touched the starfish with the help of his sister. Here are the pictures to prove it.

Cal aka 'the puss' NOT touching the shark.

Squirt Gun.

Every Tuesday Cal, Elle and myself head down to the ball fields to watch Brian play ball. Okay truth be told....Calvin runs around with the boys playing ball and getting dirty, Ellery spends every dime she can get out of me on popcorn and laffy taffy and I chat with the other mothers that are also shelling out dollars and quarters to their little peeps. Tonight was no different than any other Tuesday...Calvin comes running up to me grabbing his privates, so I ask the inevitable question 'Do you need to go to the bathroom', to which he replies 'No', I ask 'Are you sure', and he says 'Yes' as he is running to the bathrooms. As we approach the bathrooms he heads to the mens, and then looks back at me with disgust because he knows he has to use the woman's bathroom. The toilet is to tall to stand and do his business so I juggle my cell phone, a baseball glove and a ball to help him up on the toilet trying my best so that he doesn't touch every nasty surface in the bathroom. As he is peeing, he grabs above his 'little nugget' and starts moving the pee in random patterns and then looks up at me and says to me 'Look mom, it's a squirt gun'. So we finish up our business and he bolts out the door and I say 'Hey don't you need to wash your hands' and he shrugs his shoulders at me and I say 'because you just touched your squirt gun'. He comes back in to runs his hand briefly under the water and is off again. When he offers to share his candy later that night I decline because I know that there are most likely squirt gun germs on that there candy. Blah. Boys.

Cheap Labor.

So in case you weren't aware. Hanny Nanny is watching the kids this summer. While I'm at work, I assume the kids are doing kid things like sleeping in, playing on the swing set, going on bike rides etc. So today Hanny Nanny was nice enough to take some photos of what they do all day. .......

and what do you think Hannah was doing??

Calvin.

Calvin is 4. He likes superheros and giving directions.

Yesterday he had a playdate and they were dropping him off at Hannah's. The mom couldn't find the place and he told her to look for the house with the orange flower (yep Hannah has ONE orange flower in her yard) and a roof.

I love that dirty, stinky, hard playing little boy.

Never in the few short years that blogging has become popular was I going to join that circus.

Well step right up ladies and gentlemen, because the show is about to begin.

(Can you hear that circus music playing in the background?)

I have been terrible about 'writing' down the funny things the two clowns (see above) in my life are doing therefore I am breaking down and BLOGGING. Yep me a blogger. We'll see how it goes and if my family will actually check it out once in awhile, otherwise it will be fun for my clowns to look back at some day!
